Hogue 12"LOP stock for my new Norinco D780

Someone can correct me, but I believe that most Remington 780 aftermarket goodies will fit.

I'm wondering if this Hogue short stock and forend will fit, and where I could source a set-up like this here?: http://www.hoguestore.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=654_17&products_id=4613

Also curious if anyone has a set-up like this on their 12" shotgun and curious as to the overall length, i'm assuming it is still over the 26.5" required length for unrestricted. Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I think i fixed the links. It's the 12.5" Norinco (Model #D780-12GR).
Looks just like the DA Grizzly, and I believe it is one in the same firearm.

Can you recommend where I can look to source Hogue products up here in Canada?

Gratz on the short Hogue stock, when they shipped up mine I put a bigger recoil pad on it and never looked back. Their forend is great too.

I have the short LOP Hogue stock on my Mossberg 590 A1 and had the same problem as Rusty so I added a slip on Limbsaver recoil pad (size small) and it made a huge difference. The LOP is now about 13" which seems right for me lengthwise and it really cushions the shotgun.
 
The short "youth-size" Hogue on my Grizzly comes in at just over the legal minimum with an 8.5-inch barrel. You'll have no trouble at all with the 12-inch.

It's a very comfortable stock, with a very effective recoil pad right from the factory...and yes, you have to remember to put your shooting-hand thumb alongside the pistol grip rather than wrapping it around in front of your nose.

Also helps to square up to the target instead of blading away (rifle hold).
Once I remembered to bring both my shoulders square to the target and not wrapping my thumb around the stock - all was well.

Isn't the 780 the homeland defense one? If so, none of the parts can be changed with 870, grizzly or hp9 stuff.
 
Yeh, I'll get the camera out when I get home and snap a few. The sling is just a cheapo one I found at Canadian Tire. I had to remove the threads at the front end in order to run it through the attachment, then re-attach it.
