I didn't find any similar threads and I apologize if it is poorly categorized but I strongly advise any potential buyer of Hogue products NOT to buy directly from them and find a reputable retailer.

On 30 Dec I placed an order for some P226 grips, fully expecting that the order wouldn't be processed until early January given the time of year. I paid for priority international shipping, knowing Canada Post would likely be behind anyways. On January 4th I received a tracking number, much to my delight. By the 18th of January, it still stated the parcel slip had been created but nothing picked up by USPS so I emailed Customer Service; they replied the next day saying there had been an error with my shipping label and would send me the new tracking number shortly. I called on the 20th and left a voicemail, no reply. I emailed them on the 21st again following up (when I called I had asked if it wasn't too late to add a set of grip screws to the order), still nothing heard. On the 25th I followed up with another email asking when I could expect the tracking number. They finally sent it on January 27th.

In the meantime it seems my initial order was shipped but to BC, I'm in Ontario... Luckily the recipient was generous enough to mail me the package out of his own pocket seeing as the invoices in the box had my correct address.

All of that to say I could have avoided a massive headache had I just dealt with a Canadian distributor. They're nice grips, but the customer service is a complete joke. There was no offer of reimbursement for shipping or partial reimbursement.

Your bad experience is not the norm. Ordered numerous time their grips - 6 times to be exact- - 686-629 - one Super and 3 Blackhawk.
Every time it went well. Custom grip took more time - but that was stated and expected.
But this was before covid..
