Hello!
Just bought from a friend a nice 6" Smith&Wesson Model 17-4 22LR revolver that I intend to offer to my little sister for Christmas.
But, before that, I REALLY want to replace the small standard grips that are on this gun, they look and handle like a stick and are too slim to offer any lateral control.
Question: do you know of a Canadian distributor for Hogue's fancy hardwood grips? I'll need a pair of K-frame Square butt grips with fingergrooves, preferably in Kingwood or Rosewood for Lady Hélène.
Thanks!
PP. :)

Hogue shipping costs !!!...

Beware ... Hogue REALLY sticks-it to you on shipping costs ... way more than is reasonable or fair-minded. Trust me, I know ...

Maybe they get a percentage from the USPS.

Having said that, I gotta say that the quality is top-notch. Maybe buy a half-dozen sets of grips for assorted moods and friends. Christmas is coming.

You probably can't even get them now ... Cabelas wouldn't even send me a pair of small brass Ted cash "gun hooks" (for hanging a muzzle loader on the wall) that were really no more than coat-hooks!!!

They might be used by terrorists to ... hang hats.

Goofy :)

I've order several pairs of grips from Hogue in the last couple of years and have found that, yes, shipping is expensive but the grips get here in record time. BTW, ordering from Brownell's is also a little on the pricey side but they will ship most things..
