hogue hand all grips???

Yes, it fits the XD very well, and makes a huge improvement. I found the XD to be pretty ergonomic out of the box, but it was a bit slippery. This slip on grip totally resolves the slipperiness, and even made it fit my hand better. You will have to cut away a bit of the grip at the top if (and this is personal preference) you do not want the grip safety disabled. I used a blow dryer to heat the slip on grip before slowly and carefully pulling it on, and it has not moved since, to any meaningful extent.

You can see several pictures of mine in the Exchange of Pistols forum.

thanks DM...

Thanks, I think I will order one.

My XD 9 is my only pistol. Prefer revolvers.

I intend to do a black badge course this year
And may try 1 entry level IPSC match.
Just for the experience.

I thought the XD was a good choice for me.
Curious why you are selling your XD?

I have that grip on my knoxx specOPS remington 870 grip... I really like it.

It definitely doesn't move when you are shooting, just make sure you install it in the following manner:
1) spit on inside of grip
2) rub spit around with finger
3) slip onto your XD and line up

Once that spit drys out it won't move

I love the Handall on my GLock...BUT.......not legal for production IPSC...I found out after I ordered it.....and I like it so much on my Glock that I bought a Sig for IPSC instead...lol.....talk about crazy. ;)

We are looking to the "full size hand all" correct?

Is this a one size fits all guns?

Does it shrink on?

Yes, you'd want the full size. They "stretch on" rather than shrinking to fit. I used them on my USP and Glock when I owned them and found that if I soaked it it hot water (from the tap, not the stove!) before installation it went on easier. I really liked the feel and did not have any problem with slippage.

I used to put tight fitting rubber grips on my mountain bike with hair spray... it makes it easy to slip on because it acts as a lubricant but when it dries it is sticky and keeps the grip from twisting.

Not sure if hairspray would damage the finish of a firearm but if you do have slipping issues with the handall it could be something to try.

Hogue Handall Grip

Think I might pick up one for my Ruger 22/45 MkIII...

Curious why you are selling your XD?

My XD was my first centerfire pistol, and I really like it ... but I bought a Glock 22 (.40 cal) a couple of years back because I was offered a really good price on it, and because it is THE cop gun. And just a few days ago I got a Smith and Wesson M&P in .40 because as a Brinks guard I will be issued one sometime this millenium and I wanted to be able to train on my own time with it.

I just cannot justify owning three plastic framed pistols all in .40S&W, so the XD was the logical one to go. I`m gonna miss it though.
