Hogue OM stock bedding?

I'm working on that I would like a Bell & Carlson 10/22 Varmint stock but can't seem to get one. the hogue is nice but that stock has issues it doesn't seem to allow the barrel to be free floating, hence my bedding question.

You cannot free-float the barrel
unless you have the second receiver hold-down,
and even then, if you have a long and/or heavy barrel,
free-floating the barrel will result in
stressing the receiver a lot.

The Hogue OM is a ready to go, drop-in stock,
it does not need bedding.
It supports the barrel in the front,
how all the 10/22 stocks should do.

Yes, it is worth.
It is the work-horse of the 10/22 aftermarket stocks.
It's rubber over a plastic armature (skeleton),
that means it's not getting scratched, soaked,
discoloured, burned by solvents, etc.
You can wash it, pressure-wash it, whatever.
It will outlive many of the parts of the gun.
