Am thinking about putting new furniture on my ex Brinks 870. It's got the 18 1/2" plain barrel.

it's a utility/camp gun so i don't want anything fancy, just a Hogue over moulded or maybe a Remington synthetic set.

any comments?

and, where to get? i notice even amazon dot ca has the hogue sets nowadays.

thanks in advance for suggestions.

Hogue should come up with a simple spacer system for their stocks. I like the youth stock but it's a bit too short with just a t-shirt.

thanks for that. going to do some measurements/estimates before i pull the trigger (sorry) on the order.

Another vote for Magpul SGA. Turned my 1970's ex-armoured car wingmaster into a much more pleasant shoot compared to the tired recoil pad and worn synthetic furniture it had previously.. The ergonomics as stated are fantastic and it allows for fully adjustable LOP as well as cheekweld with spacers for the LOP and different cheekriser pads available..

The magpuls are pretty good for sure.
When they first came out a lot of people were turned off by the looks but my first thought was "damn that must fit nice"!
