I acquired a Hogue Stock supposed taken from a 700 Tactical.
Will it work on most any short action or what changes might I have to make?
I have a 243 Sporter (SPS), and a 700 Varmint in 22-250.
I believe that stock will have a heavy barrel contour so if you have a regular barrel there will be alot of airspaceif using the .243. Seems perfect for the SPS tactical. The action will fit no problem. Want to sell it?
