Just ordered 2 hogue stocks for my moss, 500, 590, one regular lop and one 12" less lethal, whatever that means, I couldn't find much info or reviews on them but thought I would try it. The less lethal will go on my wifes 590. hopefully calm the recoil down. I was going to get the recooil reducing stock from knox but it has mixed reviews so I will try this and possibly a good butt pad that some guys here have been mentioning! Has anyone heard of or tried the less lethal stock?

I have a Hogue normal length stock on my 590A1 and it measures about 13" LOP. It not only handles recoil better, but is a better fit then the crappy OEM stock.
 
as far as i know hogues line of less lethal stocks are bright orange and black with the words "less lethal" on them.

Fantastic, that will save some money! Can't wait to get them, looking to get some longer barrels for the 590's too. Going to try the wife on skeet shooting!
Hey Dilligaf, do you know of any gun shows in the area this spring?
 
I have a Hogue 12" on my 870. Unless the shooter is extremely small framed they will have to shoot it squared-up. Shooting it with a traditional SG stance will result in hand to face violence, FYI. Otherwise it's a great stock and perfect for a short-barreled pump.
