That's great! I always wanted to get an 1892 like he carried often.... I know it's not popular anymore, but he is still my faveourite.

Working through 30-30, .375winchester, .303, .30-06, 44-40, .308, 45-70, 6.5x55. Some load development, some BP stuff. Lots of time spent in cleaning And trimming brass. I've put well over 1k through the old Spartan press in an evening here and a weekend there since the snow began. Another few hundred rounds and I'll finally be out of components.

I thought I was the only one who did this. I have a M-I-L that is a step beyond crazy and a F-I-L that is beyond idiot. Every second year its the same thing.

What is it with everyone around here seeming to have crazy left wing in-laws? Stop marrying city girls.... Get your gals from farming communities!! Lol

Well, I'm annoyed. My 150 brand new Winchester branded 6.5x55 cases yielded 9 for sure that are beyond use, with cracks in case mouths, and splits in neck, shoulders, and a few nice ones split neck to shoulder. I've annealed the rest of them, which is something apparently neglected on the assembly line. I should take wagers on how many more are weak and will split on first firing despite my annealing them...

Next time I'll mail order different stuff. Only bought these because I found them in the store here.
