Holland Action Wrench for the Rem 700

It is fairly easy to make a spade wrench for a 700...

I made this from a piece of Ford truck axle and a 1/2 inch drive socket.

Gunrunner8 makes and sells them in the EE. I bought one from him and it works great on most two action lugs. I did a small video review on it but haven't had the chance to edit and post it onto youtube.

Some US companies just don't want the bother of using USPS (The post office). They prefer UPS (The extra charge in Canada company) to stop by and pick it up. Any Canadian who has experienced the difference once usually won't accept UPS again.

Some times if you ask a US company will help you out without excessive charges.

I bought one from Kelbly, takes off factory barrels with a bang! The one I got is bent to remove barrels from glued in actions, I would have rather had one straight with a hex on the end for a socket instead of a cross bar. No problem with Canada.

I talked with them about a month ago to order a jig for pinning the recoil lugs to actions and they said no problem shipping it to Calgary , only problem is they were out of stock.

Great news!!!

Just called Holland to see what they would say when I asked them to ship to Canada.
The very nice lady on the other end said "No problem", so I ordered the action wrench and she took my info and said it would go out by tomorrow.
AND... they are shipping it USPS instead of those crooks UPS.

I'm stoked...
