How well does a holographic sight hold up to the recoil of a shotgun? I've been wanting to put something on my 870. Any suggestions?

I have a Bushnell red dot on my Marine Mag and have had no troubles with it.
It has a wood stock on it now but this is what it looks like.

I had a Tasco on my Maverick 88 and it held up well.

I just moved it to my HP9, and the recoil is shifting the on switch to off after ever second shot...I'll be switching to a Kalinka one as soon as I can. :D

Thanks Guys. I was thinking about something like this Bushnell. http://www.bushnell.com/general/riflescopes_holosight_53-0027.cfm Has anyone used or seen this sight in person. Thanks for the picture sixty9santa. That could definitely be an option as well.

I live in a small town, so I don't have the option to go look at several different types of sights. I have to rely upon the experts at CGN.

But you do in fact loose side saddle capability...

I'm pretty sure I have seen a version that attaches to a weaver rail, so you can use a side saddle. :)

Thanx for the tip PP. :)

Ya, that may be a better option. I'm not ready to give up my mesa side saddle.
