I wanna get a rifle for multi uses. Something like a non restricted semiauto .223

When I hit the bush I want a red dot or a holo sight for quick targeting at short ranges.

But I also want to be able to reach out and touch the coyotes at 300 yards.

Do those quick detach bases that you can get hold their zero?

What is the accuracy like with the magnifiers and a holo sight?

Thank you in advanced

Don't get a qd, just get an offset rail, or a mount over the scope. You can buy a combo for a reasonable price, and since it's 223, the higher end airsoft scope work flawlessly.

In my personal experience. Airsoft=Garbage

There's a few ways you can go. Like you suggested OP you can put real optics in quality QD mounts and swap them out without losing zero. Mounts like those made by ADM American Defense Manufacturing.
But if you don't want to be swapping all the time there are dual role optic set ups.
You can run a 1-4x scope like a vortex viper or if you're looking for a more affordable option get the hi-lux cmr 1-4x.
There's fixed 4x red dot style optics such as vortex spitfire 3x, Burris 3x, elcan os4x, acog etc. some can have a micro red dot attached or off to side on 45 degree mount.
Another option and my personal preference is a quality red dot and flip to side magnifier.
Like an aimpoint micro T1/H1 or an Eotech and then a quality magnifier like Eotech or aimpoint. If you're looking for more affordable then I'd suggest one of the holosun red dots(solar panel version) in an ADM mount and maybe a vortex magnifier. I have recently bought a couple of the holosun and they seems pretty good for the price.

Qd mounts are fine if you buy quality mounts and are religious about how you reinstall. Swap and re zero when you first get them to ensure they return to zero before you just assume they will.

I agree with lobster pot, but Elcan Specter DR's are my prefered 1/4x

Duh I forgot the best one of all!

I was very impressed with the elcan os4x I had. The glass was amazing. I will be getting the DR 1-4x in the near future. For now I've gone with the red dot/magnifier combo because I have 4 rifles that have red dots mounted at the same height so I can slap the magnifier(Eotech) onto anyone of them. It's quite a bit cheap that 4 Elcan's

If I was only going to have 1 rifle and I wanted the best 1-4x then the elcan specter DR 1-4x is the way to go.
