Not my first RDS but is my first HOLOSUN. Purchased online from a site sponser, faulty right out of the box! The Reticle does not function as it should. I get no 32 moa donut of death around the 2 moa dot. Even tried a new battery.

Vendor is gonna say deal with HOLOSUN and HOLOSUN is gonna say deal with the vendor. No way I would have left the store with a broke RDS...feel my pain :(

When it’s new, you have to scroll through and select one of three reticle choices: dot only, circle only, circle + dot. If you already tried that and it’s still defective, then my apologies — I’m sure either the vendor or Holosun will make it right — but if not, then there’s the problem; the owner’s manual will walk you through it.

I heard that Holosun is standing by their products hard. If you haven't figured out the issue as user error - not saying that's what it is, but don't rule it out until you've gone through the manual. Maybe we're all just too used to getting nothing for what we pay for. Trijicon SRO is NINE HUNDRED FREAKING DOLLARS. It's the size of my thumb. My Leupold VX3 4-14 30mm was $1200 and that thing enables me to snipe gopher eyeballs at 200 yards.

Holosun is releasing innovating products with more features at 40% lower cost than the competition to establish themselves. I just bought the 507C ACSS from Tenda because a local dealer told me to, instead of paying more for a back order with them. They're going to be raising prices based on their popularity and performance.

Well the prospects of a quick replacement aren't good, so Ive decided to register the warranty and keep it.

Despite the faulty LED (I don't run the donut reticle on pistols) everything else is quite nice. The dot itself is crisp and bright, the glass is clear and as distorsion free as my Trijicon SRO. If I were to nit-pick, the finish on the titanium is thin, the glue holding the lens a tad sloppy...

I look fwd to mounting it on my Walther PDP. We'll see how it holds up!

WTF? Came to complain then referred to the manual eh?

Holosun canada is the easiest company EVER to deal with for warranty IF you have the reciept and you are just ASSuming the vendor will say this or holosun will say that. How about sending Holosun Canada an email outling ING whatever the so called issues are.

So what exactly are the issues now?

There are 3 settings for the reticle, circle dot, circle, dot. It literally takes 5 seconds to choose which reticle.

You think the otpic is gonna fail in 1000rnds.... sell it and buy something else

So what is exactly wrong with the optic then??

No not five seconds. It takes three seconds of holdind the minus button to switch between reticles, which mine does not do.
