Holosun Red Dot + Vortex VMX 3T?

Interested in this set up for an AR.

"The 30mm lens diameter VMX-3T sits 40mm from the top of the rail to the centre of the lens. The 22mm lens diameter Holosun HS403G (when using the high mount) sits 41.4mm from the top of the rail to the centre of the lens. As such, these products will not align perfectly, but our customers have told us that they work well together." Holosun Technologies Inc.

So, they have a different less diameter. Also, on vortex Q&A section for the VMX-3T, they mention that the magnifier comes with a shim to adjust height.

Any one using this set up? I'm curios about the two not aligning perfectly, but apparently the work well.

You may have resolved this already, but I was surprised to find that my cheap ncStar magnifier, that is out of alignment with my red dot by 3 or 4 mm, works just fine.
Most magnifiers I've looked at are able to adjust the image from the red dot to appear in the center of the magnifier, as long as it wasn't TOO far off to begin with.
Your set-up is within 1.4mm; I would think it would work great...
