I was going to buy an RMR for my shotgun until a fellow CGNer mentioned Holosun.

Looks like these are cheaper, have multi reticles and a few other features that the RMR does not.

I've narrowed it down to the HE507C-GR V2 or HE508T-V2 ELITE. I have looked at these a few different places and have seen conflicting information, some show the HE508T-V2 ELITE with a curved top, some with a straight top, I read one site that the HE507C-GR V2 has 0.5MOA adjustment per click but on another it says 1 MOA per click.

If there is anyone who has handled one or both and could clear this up I would appreciate it. Opinions / experiences are welcome too.

My questions are:

1) Does the HE508T-V2 ELITE have a flat top or curved top? Is it 1 MOA per click of adjustment?

2) Does the HE507C-GR V2 have 0.5 MOA adjustments or 1 MOA?

Which of these two has the bigger window / best FOV?

Forgot to say I'm probably going for the green reticle in whichever I pickup if that makes a difference.

I just picked up the 510 and I'm running it on a 300Blk PDW. I have a 509t coming for a pistol. First impressions were good, solid and excellent fit & finish. Maybe decide if you want an "open" or "closed" emitter, other than that they seem to be pretty generic. The "elite" series have the better warranty. I'm using the Grn reticle and so far so good. They are coming out with a very compact Ti magnifier which will suit my needs. Go to the Holosun website for the "spec's" but I don't see this type of sight having a .5 MOA adjustment.

I have no first hand experience with these two optics but have been researching the 508T-GR V2. Have a look here for some pretty good reviews: https://www.youtube.com/user/SageDynamics/search?query=holosun
