I have recently bought a springfield range officer operator in 9mm. I am in need of a holster, outside the waist band and a good gun belt. Looking to see if anyone can help with some suggestions. I have searched online and can not find anything that is specific to this model. I don't want to order something and have it not fit. All help is appreciated.
Thx.

Are you planning on shooting in matches or just at the shooting stall? DAA PDR Pro or Bladetech DOH worked well for me. If you want to spend more, you can go competition style speed holster which avoids scuffs on your slide but they're not cheap or allowed in some organizations ie IDPA.

As for belts, DAA, CR Speed, Ghost, Bladetech, Double-Tap makes good sturdy two-piece belts. DAA is probably the stiffest of the bunch there.

just range use maybe an ipsc match or two. Looking for something inexpensive and in kydex.

For Kydex Soley Canadian is top notch followed by Blade Tech/Comptac. For versatility get a regular belt holster. IPSC allows dropped and offset. IDPA doesn't. Your draw won;t be any faster using a dropped and offset for all practical purposes.

For IDPA and range use Simply Rugged make excellent leather belt holsters. Go 1.5" or 1 3/4". The former may work more for regular pants. The wider belt provides more support for the holster and fits jeans and most cargo pants. Their belts are thick and sturdy. Their hosters are well made bit really serve only has a range holster. The design of their holsters really are not meant for competition.
