Storm you know IDPA is owned by Bill Wilson. Not for profit, just for control. Works, as does the organizational structure of IPSC.
Take Care
Bob
You see you got that totally wrong.
The truth of the matter is they REPRESENT the sport.
Quigley is the properly elected REPRESENTATIVE of IPSC Ontario.
Sean is the properly ELECTED REPRESENTATIVE of IPSC Canada.
Likewise IPSC has other member who are ELECTED at various levels right up to the top Executives ( Currently the President is a Canadian BTW).
Mind you some days I think that the Execs at the WB of IPSC have their heads up their puttuties........but it is hard to argue with a democratic system.
Who is the eleted head of IDPA again? Damned if I can remember their name.
They may be the duly elected representatives, but they are not themselves 'the sport'. IPSC will long succeed them, I guarantee it.

Perhaps you should reserve your judgment till you have experienced what you are talking about first hand. As theres no large scale rebellion going on right now in the Ontario IPSC community I think its safe to say that all of us support Quigley and the job he does...
But where the hell is my Sitrep magazine!!!![]()
Well, I may partake in IPSC one day because the actual shooting does seem like fun, there is no way you guys can actually believe that one man, or two men, make the sport. Quigly may do an excellent job, (I can't say one way or the other), but with any org, the success will be due to all the members.
For someone to openly say in a public forum "I am IPSC" (post # 45) is.... like I said, a disservice to all of you's who participate, run BB courses, act as SO's, etc, etc. On that part, my opinion will not change, IPSC member or not.

The only use I find for the Sitrep is the contact numbers of the clubs that don't subscribe to Omens on-line match registration.
