Holster for Browning High Power

Hi everyone

I am looking for a new holster for my Browning Hi Power. I used a Serpa Level 2 thigh hoster but I had to modify it and Dremel a groove for the slide release to clear despite it being the correct model. Despite that it was still a bit sticky.

Any advice?

It doesn't need to be a level 2 or thigh model as I may use it for casual days at the range.
 
Somewhere in a pile of stuff I have a RCS PHP holster -- also a 6004 Safariland (modded for C&L carry.)

I'd toss the SERPA in the garbage and get a decent holster.

the SERPA's and any version of FOBUS holster should be kept far away from real guns.
 
KevinB. I have searched and searched and have not found a source in canada for a twin magazine pouch for my Hi power mags in 9mm. I do not need snap covers, its for range use only.
Any ideas?
 
Most 1911 holsters will fit the BHP. Beretta M9 Pouches hold BHP Mags.

Any large pistol holster will work. Uncle Mike's make several that won't cost a pile of money. You might find a surplus CF holster at a gun show.
Not many double mag pouches for BHP's. The shooting games frown upon 9mm so there's not a lot of demand. Uncle Mikes makes a Universal Double Magazine Case though. Should work fine for a BHP.
 
Solely Canadian is based out of BC and does kydex holsters and mag pouches. Sold through Canadian tacticals cowboy supply. Others would include raven concealment, bravo concealment, atomic dog, grizzly outdoors, bladetech to name a few. Most aren't offered in Canada as our retailers generally fail to stock good stuff.

I got a Blade Tech Dropped Offset holster for mine. Ordered direct. Had to wait a couple months for it to be made. They have separate 9 mm and 40 holsters. I like Blade Tech. No nonsense quality holster.
Gets the job done.
 
Have you thought about making your own out of kydex? Easy to do and it will fit your HP exactly. There are thousands of different configurable options. you can buy complete kits, or just what you need.
