Has anyone used the Blackhawk Serpa Holster for the M&P 9 Pro? I emailed the company and they mentioned that the only issue may be that the front sights are taller than the regular M&P, and that the gun will stick out the bottom.
Just looking for an option.
Thank

Better off getting (in no particular order) a Comp Tac, Blade Tech, Safariland, Raven, Solely Canadian, Uncle Mikes, DeSantis, Mernickle, Galco, -well, you get the idea. I like Raven and Solely Canadian, but Blade Tech is good too. Yes, I have a Serpa (with what I call the KevinB mod done to it) it still sucks, you just can't hide crappy materials.

I have one for my Sig 226R. Honestly, I really dislike it. You have to SLAM! the gun in to get past the retention clip, even with the set screw out. I would do it differently if I started over.

Hmmm. I have absolutely no issues with my Serpa holster.

I have yet to come across anyone in person that has the M&P Pro model for me to try in my holster.

Hmmm. I have absolutely no issues with my Serpa holster.

FLETC hardly the cutting edge of LE training has banned them, after a number of issues (shooters shooting themselves on the draw).
Debris can get caught in them as well that will make it impossible to draw the weapon.
Many private ranges have banned them by name...

Its your money and your well being, I've used one years ago - and then DoS went and banned it - so I got a real holster, way before I found out all the other issues...

I emailed them also and got the same answer.

I've been checking the blade techs out - on their website the show a IDPA combo and you can select the m&p pro as the firearm. Just trying to find that combo from one of the sponsors.

does blade tech sell a version specifically for the PRO?
my pro does not fit in the holster for my normal 9 or 40, sites are too high.

ya, thats the trick.
i ordered a holster from them last year directly and it cost me more in shipping then the holster cost.

So silly question - is there any issue with importing holsters and mag pouches from the States to Canada? Like I mentioned found what I think is a decent combo pack at Blade Tech, they show shipping rates to Canada, just read posts of red dots and the such getting confiscated at the border??

There's no problem importing holsters. Check locally for the one you want first though, several dealers here carry Blade Tech.

I've checked with a couple of Canadian Dealers and they do not have or carry the one for the M&P Pro. Blade Tech shows a nice combo pack " HOLX0086IDPAPKO0278BLKRH

Anyway, I have to wait until after Christmas as my wife puts a buying ban on me from November to Christmas LOL
