Late last year I bought a Smith & Wesson SD9 pistol as a secondary pistol (for introducing women to firearms and CCW in the US)

While it is easy to find IWB holsters for that particular pistol, I had a hard time finding one that would be OWB and fit this popular pistol.

I read many threads on American forums that "all" holsters that fits S&W M&P pistols would fit a SD9.......WRONG!

I bought a G-Code M&P holster from a fellow CGN member........and the holster is way too tight. (it is now for sale in the EE)

I had placed an ad on the EE for a Blackhawk Serpa holster, but never got an offer......so I bought one....

I am happy to say that the Blackhawk Serpa Holster Size 25 made for the M&P fits the SD9 pistol like a glove.

** Take note that the Serpa holsters have had their share of bad press in regard to accidental discharges, and you should be really careful with those..... I dry fired my pistol with no such thing as getting my trigger finger getting into the trigger guard......but some people did....with bad results

Solely Canadian should be able to fix your holster quest. Skip the serpa

Both are SC holster and the brown one is a concealable one for Glock17/19 with supressor barrel

I do know that those hard black safari land holsters that fit the mp40 work perfectly with the sd40....as I have both pistols and the holster....just can't think of the exact model of holster....it's a level 3 holster and I know they are north of 100$ so u might not be interested in speding that much
