I am looking for a holster to fit my pocket pistol in. I would like it to maybe clip onto my belt or onto my leg.

- (for a belt type I would love to find a mini flap holster so I don’t loose it in the bush.)-

-(and if you know of a place in Canada that would have one instock I would like to pick it up before next week when I start muzzleloader hunting.

Can you help me out?

read the RCMP sheet linked, don't see where it says you can carry a loaded antique handgun in the bush. Just because it doesn't say you can't, doesn't mean you can. But... who am I? I await the court outcome should it come to pass.

You can legally discharge them anywhere that you can a non restricted firearm.

You can't hunt with them but you can deffinatly legally target shoot with them in the bush.

Carry the RCMP letter stating its status, stay safe, don't go flashing it around at random people obviously and you should be in the clear.

Mine usually come with me in the bush when I'm hunting or hiking up north.

FYI I could be wrong but your rcmp link said it can discharge only rim-fire cartridges, other than 22 Calibre Short, 22 Calibre Long or 22 Calibre Long Rifle cartridges.
So if that ammo in front of your pistol is 22 cal of any type it is not legal, but there is some thing that says that if you have a trap line you might be able to get a permit that will could let you carry a pistol but it has to be I think over 9mm for protection as any thing smaller could be pointless to use on any thing big enough to kill a human.
best of luck trying to convince a fish cop that your with in your rights having it on your persons with out a permit but as i said I COULD BE WRONG.

OP, if you can't find what you are looking for over the counter, check with these two:

www.larocheleathers.com

http://www.pennercustomleather.com/

Either one can produce very nice custom work and may be able to make what you want.

"Safety Regulations

Under the Firearms Act, antique firearms must be stored, displayed and transported unloaded.

If you are transporting your antique firearms and need to leave them unattended*, leave them in your vehicle’s locked trunk or similar compartment. If your vehicle does not have a trunk or compartment, lock the vehicle and leave the antique firearms inside and out of sight.

Antique handguns must be locked in a heavy-duty, non-see-through container that cannot be easily broken open during transportation."

does this mean you can't have it loaded while in the bush? this is too grey for me, not sure if i would carry that around. nice gun though! love the antiques :)
