G'day

I've got an opportunity to purchase a Safariland Model 70 retention level III duty holster for my Smith & Wesson 4506. It's unissued police surplus in the states.

My question is this, are there holsters that are deemed LE use only?

Is this one of them? I want to buy this since it's such a good deal, but don't want it seized at the border, you know what I mean?

Thanks for all the advice.

You can import any holster you want, even those designed for Concealed carry.

You've got no problems, as the previous posters have said, holsters are legal regardless of type. Even when you see things in the US labeled "Law Enforcement Only" it's only a company policy, not the law.

Thanks for the advice.

I bought the holster.

Got it for $15.00 delivered to Canada.

Retail on this holster is between $130.00 and $145.00 US

I think I got a great deal on this item...................

If it's new..practise with it..a lot. it requires some motor skills to draw your pistol quickly from it.
Safariland recommends being able to draw your sidearm in under 2 seconds before using it on duty..so if you are going to use it for IDPA or something some practise is in order.
