This will really show how much I don't know but I guess I have to learn some where.

I want to order a holster from a company in the states, will I have any problems with Canada Customs or anything? Are holsters regulated? I would just get it at 911 Supply in Calgary because they carry the line of holsters, but not for my M&P. So it would take 4-6 weeks to get it there on "special order". Might as well just have it delivered to my door instead of having to drive to Calgary to pick it up.

thanks,

I've got a holster on the way from Kramer leather.

No you will not have a problem with Canadian customs. Customs doesn't even care if you bring ammo or guns in from the US just as long as you pay the tax.

Any potential problem that you might have is on the US side. They will rip you a new one if you try to export a gun or ammo without the proper paperwork. As far as holsters go those do not require import/export permits.

Blade-Tech is the company, and they do ship to Canada according to their website. But will I have problems with Canada Customs?

Ok here are some answers for you.

1) Yes they will ship to you and you may have to wait but I might suspect they have premade a bunch.

2) the cost will be $10 shipping with Fedex. Nothing extra with customs.

3) I hope you have checked out mp-pistol.com and mp-store.com as there are all the answers you need to know.

try to find another store in the US, they might carry the bladetech. (Browsnell)
They don't make premade batch, they go with orders.

I got hassled at customs when I went over to the states to a letter carrier service to pick up my used 1911 holster. He gave me all kinds of questions, I just answered politely and let him do his thing. He eventually let me go, still kinda sucked though.

I've ordered holsters from Galco, Kirkpatrick, and Simply Rugged. There has never been an issue with Canada Customs - other than PST, GST, and a handling fee. I just recieved a couple of holsters from Simply rugged last week, and there was no duty charged.

I bought a few holsters from the US already and never had any problems at the border. I've told customs what they were and they just let me go all the time :)
