Holy loose screws batman!

Just shot my new(used) Guide gun yesterday. Absolutely love this gun, while putting the lever back on after cleaning it I noticed the other screws were loose. I went over all of them and most needed some tightening. To be honest I never thought to check them before shooting. Just wondering if this is normal. Obviousely I'll be checking every outing from now on.

I had a 36A that did that. If it bacame too loose, the loading port would jam up. Try a little loc-tite.

It is very normal. Tighten all screws every time you clean it just to be sure.

But do not over tighten, stripping the thread would make things, .... interesting!

i tighten the screws on my 336 every time i have it out. seems to be a symptom of the marlins.

Thanks guys. Shot it again today, got the XS ghost ring dialed. Seems mine wants to shoot to the right as others have said. She's good to go now though.

I had to tighten the screws on my scope rings but none of the action/receiver screws (yet). My scope worked seriously loose...
