Holy smokes is this grip the most tactical thing ever?

Before you dismiss this as another AFG rip off, read the amazing description:

The 'PTK'- Ergonomic Pointing Grip conceptualizes within its design a unique Special Forces combat proven instinctive shooting method incorporating natural pointing positioning which enhances accuracy, speed and overall tactical performance.

I had to laugh at that. The only thing they were missing was a couple of "operator"s in there to up the tactical.

It seems weird that everyone is sort of copying magpul on this. But I have to give fab-defense credit for sticking with their "sleek-fish" design. It does give a distinct style to a gun:

My big question: How much? Because if its way under magpul . . . like 10 or 15 bucks . . . hell I'd try one out. It promised to increase my accuracy, speed, and overall tactical performance all at once!

Don't understand the fad with these angled foreends.

I ran one for a short time, then went back to a stubby vertical grip, using the same high thumb hold anyways. Way more positive control, these things are gimmicks imo.

Gotta agree with you... the AFG doesn't do squat for me. I can't pull it in tight as my mitts just slide down to the bottom. Stubby VFG with high thumb works waaay better for me.

Oh they're big just because they're new and shiny. I have no doubt that in 10 years we'll look back at these and laugh like I do now when I see laser sight guide rods, or anything else "80s tactical"

However: I could see a value if someone designed a grip like that specifically for AKs and Vz58s where rock in mags don't always play nice with vertical grips.

Yep this would have been better posted in the RR forums as this forum unless it's Costa approved then it looses it's ### apeal ;)

Luv the combo deal!
Feels like I am shopping at Wendy's.

How can it be a knock off?
I guess every grip is a knock off.
Every rail is a knock off.
Aren't magpul plastic buis a knock off of iron sights

This companies grip looks better to me. Better thought out

Magpul patented the AFG, I don't know if this design infringes on that enough that they could be sued or not.

You mean decades old patents that are expired? I do believe that some rails have existing patents though, if they offer a unique innovative or proprietary design they most likely protected. I am sure VLTOR, DD and etc have patents on their designs.

For sure! It incorporates a unique, combat proven special forces instinctive pointing method. I bet magpul didn't think of that LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
