Home defense airgun

There are some "launchers" capable of 40 joules with paintball size ammo, unmodified... not sure if that's better than bear spray. Modified I'm seeing (Youtube) them go over 100J using carbine length barrrels. They are "deemed not firearms" so full auto is available.

I was thinking of starting a business making airguns under 500fps but with enough energy (50+J?) to smack steel targets for fun. With handgun transfers over they would fill a void in the market. I'm sure they would be banned when the Liberals realize we are having fun without crown consent, but I'd be proud to have a law named after me!
 
I've got a five pound ABC fire extinguisher mounted at both front and rear doors, they are pretty effective at deterring an attack.
Pretty hard to breathe and see when one is discharged in your face. If that don't work I keep my baseball mitt and bat nearby as it's almost time for the boys of summer.
 
Raid wasp and hornet spray …shoots probably 30 ft and highly flammable and sticks to what hits

Flame thrower in a can … available at most Canadian Tire , Home Depot stores
I am sure if you sprayed a "pest" in the face without ignition it would burn like a mofo...

You'll probably need a license to own a dog bigger than 100lbs one day.
 
I've thought about one of them crop propane cannons on a motion detector, I could just say it's for the garden.

If it's a big enough problem that I need to resort to either of those, its a big enough problem to resort to a gun IMO. Plus dealing with a dead guy feels preferable to bear spray in my home lol
 
It doesn't matter what you use to defend yourself, the agents of the state will screw you over for doing so regardless.

Don't concern yourself with what's legal in a country run by criminals in Ottawa. A gun is almost always the best choice, and as been said countless times, "it is better to tried by 12 than carried by 6" or something like that.

Not necessarily. You could ask 48-year-old Shahbaz Ahmed about it but he is dead and the woman he was attacking was not charged
