I wanted to do the same made for a while but can't get around to it. I was going to tap it slightly under so the bolt is a very tight fit to keep it in there.

Others have enlarged the exhaust holes on the gas tube to relieve pressures

I was thinking this as well. I mean, short of getting a Yugo M59/66... T'would be handy for load development and such.
