I'd like to see you load your dryer up with a quarter million rounds of brass Dave. it wouldn't even move. we had a big tumbler at the farm that I wanted to convert into a brass tumbler and my idiot mother had one of the workers burn the drum. Wood with interior panels for a stiring effect, 4 ft diameter and 3 ft wide. still pisses me off.

its nice to see there are some affordable tumblers out there...but its not the same as something you built yourself..
its not about money a lot of the time..
for if it was why would we reload/cast,or what ever else us nutz do:D

Plastic folgers coffe can + media + dirty brass. Place in clothes dryer (with laundry...important!) dry clothes, shiny brass.

Now I have a reason to do laundry! Excellent, thanks WW.

Brass came out very clean after 45 minutes however the case mouths took quite a beating, I had to debur all of them. I probably used too big a contianer. Next time I'll go with several smaller ones and only go for 1/2 hour.

You are right..It's not the same as something you build yourself. It's probably alot easier to use, works better, quieter, looks better and doesn't take up you r spare time that coudl be put to better use doing somethign else!!:p:p

Well, that's good, because you can get acheap tumbler that wil last you a lifetime for a small amount of money!:D

To get performance that you cannot get form factory ammo, at an affordable cost, a cost that you must pay over and over, unlike a tumbler, which you will pay once for.;)

Hey, I'm all for do it yourself for things that make sense- I built my own house and saved thousands of dollars. I cut down cedar trees on my property and milled them myself for my deck, so I woudl have a superior product.....It's just a tumbler is so inexpensive and will last a lifetime, that I don't see much point in messing aroudn wiht coffee cans and spending a few hours designing and building some contraption.:bangHead:

But some guys still wash thier brass in buckets, and set them out to dry on cookie sheets, too. They woudl rather spend hours every time they need to clean brass than spend $60.

:D:D
