Spent the weekend at the hunt camp completing chores for our upcoming deer week. Large part of the work involved placing new homemade treestands and repositioning old ones. Thought I could share some pics.

New 16ft (to floor) two-person, covered ladderstand. Complete with funnel WC...

New 15ft platform, lag-bolted 2X8's as base, everything but the base consists of "recycled"wood...

Old (7 years) 12ft ladderstand made from plans off the interweb. Holding up pretty nicely. VERY IMPORTANT to use screws and PL Premium.

this is my stand and the view. My buddy actually built it, but he rarely goes hunting, so I call it mine.;)
My seat to the treeline right in front of me is about 150yds.
