'homemade' 7.62 crush washer

Does anybody have a quick and easy temporary replacement for 7.62 crush washers or shims? I'm trying to install a muzzle brake for the weekend and I don't have a proper crush washer. I tried a copper oil drain plug crush washer, but the inside diameter isn't large enough. It's going on an AR10.

Arbor shims. Super cheap and can be bought at industrial supply stores. They come in many sizes and thicknesses.

I'm heading to Acklands Grainger since they are located in Barrie, ON and that's not a crazy far drive for me...

Check Lowes or auto supply for copper washers of varying thicknesses and even stacking them to get the correct indexing/position. Hope this helps--Dieseldog!
