So I have free run of a metalwork shop for a teaching contract. Havent had much lathe experience so thought I would try making something simple...and i need a de-mooner for my 686 clips.
5/8" round steel scrap piece, had already been worked on a little so I turned it even, drilled out on end about 1.5", knurled the handle end and notched the top.
Next plan is to make some moonclip holders for my belt. Have 7 pieces of 1/2" steel cut to 2", some magnets to put on top somehow. Still planning how to attach to the belt but probably bend some 1 1/4" x 1/8 flat and see how that goes.
