Homemade Leather Pancake Holster

I am new to pistol shooting and am gearing up for IDPA. I found a great tutorial for making your own leather pancake holster here. So..., I thought I would give it a try. Here are some pictures with my Browning HP.

The next project will be a matching double mag holder.

I've made a few knife sheaths before, but this is the first holster.

I could not find any prefab patterns, so I just used the method shown in the tutorial. Here is another tutorial that was helpfull.
