homemade SKS pistol grip

im curious to know if someone has already make a pistol grip out of a piece of wood and make it fit on his SKS ive seen one once but couldnt contact the guy that made it... i would like to keep my wood stock and having a pistol grip so if any of you got experience with that or if you know someone that already made that experience id like to have some infos

Ive seen jerry rigs for wood stocks like that before; personally I think they look exactly that... jerry rigged. I think you could definately find better routes than tacking a grip on an existing stock... but thats just my humble opinion.

i like the look of the wooden stock, i dont like very much those synthetic stocks with pistol grip thats why im searching for i know TAPCO are selling one syntetic pistol grip only for SKS but they dont ship to canada :S
