So got out this morning before the extreme heat and got 12 more test loads fired off. it was 20deg @ 7:30am when doing my testing.. Loads tested started @ 53.3 and went to 54.8 in .5 gr increments. No signs of pressure at all with 54.8gr of IMR4831 and 2875 with a 160gr bullet from my 22" tube rem 700. I will stop there at I'm sure this is enough medicine for anything we plan to hunt and accuracy was 3/4". I do appreciate all the responses as it could have saved me some trouble. I was going to go with the Federal Load data which i believe that they have a max for 57gr.... I'm almost sure i would have ran into pressure long before then... and velocity would have been high i bet. no need to stress the rifle to much... thanks for all info as i started low and worked my way up like i normally do but definitely lower then normal. I think this is the first time in my years of reloading different and odd ball calibers where i have actually hit pressure before listed max, definitely a learning experience.
Thanks all again.. Now bring on the fall and the hunting season
