Honest opinion on the NC Star scope?

Save your money. I had one on my 308 and it just disintegrated in double quick time, but Im also aware of one that is still good after nearly 2 years. That wouldn't persuade me to buy another one tho. Luckily I have a good relationship with my local gunstore and he took it back no questions. I would hate to try and deal with some of the bigger stores in a situation like that.

Thank you all for advice!!! I honestly thought so my self, I buddy had mentioned it to me but I thought I would check!! Thx again

308!!! Yeah the ncstar has no place on a centrefire. Works great on my 22 though, very happy with it.

I bought an NC Star monocular. Looked though it the 1st time I bought it, said "cool, not bad for 10 bucks (or less possibly)". Put it away and went use it again about 4-5 weeks later. The lenses fell out.

I think Quang Lo used his jizz to glue the lenses into the housing.

I got an NC Star red dot with a 22 I bought, it wouldn't hold zero, the mount was wobbly and out of spec, and was just garbage.... on a 22. Stay away.

Buy one for your kids cap gun, it will work great for him. I had a rubberised model that sat ontop of a Winchester 6.5x55 M70... Couldn't get the damn thing to adjust for crap....4 clicks up..bang bang bang....still 4 clicks up....bang bang bang...oh now 8 clicks right....bang bang bang..now 8 clicks right and 8 down.....F*aaaa!!!!!
Call it an exercise in futility. FYI it didn't work on my 597 either.
