Honest Opinions About .223 and 22-250

Personally I think that both are a little light for big coyotes at a long range and obviously the 22-250 is a better choice for larger varmints.
Bullet choice is a more important criteria for saving hides... and it is tough not to blow big holes at close range with a fast .22.
I am still waiting for a .204 barrel.... gonna see what the what is with this cartridge.
 
Get all three (the .204, .223 and .22-250). Thats what I did. I think it was prosper who said earlier that the .223 and .22-250 were different enough to justify trying both, and I think that can be extended to include the .204. They all shine with reloads, but if you're not into reloading, go with the .223 or .22-250.
