I just bought this, sometimes i tend to be impulsive but this caught my eye.

What you cant see in the pics is an american flag on top of the slide and some dog tags.
 
As long as you like it and think you'll keep it this time thats all that matters :D

but personally I'm not the fan of the grips and prefer clean slide. but Sig makes a nice 1911!
 
If you are into the whole POW/MIA thing, then I imagine you should be happy with it. Seems like a lot for a SIG 1911, but I haven't priced any 1911's in 15 years, so i don't really know what they should be worth, and what the extra engraving is actually costing.

If you are happy with it, that's all that matters.
 
I wouldn't buy it with all the commemorative stuff on it, but it is a very nice pistol and if it makes you happy that is all that matters. Besides, you will shoot it 3 times and flog it in a month anyway, so don't worry about it. :D

No i didnt take the pic i got it off the net, its not my girlfriend lol, but everybody seems to think i have the ability to make her take that gun out of the way lol,, ive gotten pms to put it back up when i put a different avatar up.
 
That is exactly what should be engraved on a gun,let me know when you are sick of it as those are great shooting guns.

thats possible, i dont tend to hold on things too long, my Glock 17 seems to be the longest.
 
All I am going to say is that SIG seem to be obsessed with trim packages these days and I believe it is making money for them. I don't share their fascination but if you like the gun and you can afford the gun and you understand what you're buying and it makes you happy, I would say that is what matters.
 
That looks nice and clean for a commemorative model. The American flag looks great, the dog tags are a little much in my opinion but still if you like the gun thats all that matters.

its always good to see special editions make their way up to Canada.
 
Actually that is a gorgeous pistol...If I had the bucks it would be something I would go for because I like the military and support that kind of thing...Very nice gun
