honest opinions needed

I have a smith and wesson 686 I got on trade and I want to get rid of it and I have no idea what it is worth.

I am looking for some honest opinions of what people think it is worth.

Specs:
4.7" barrel
counter weighted
aristocrat sites
rosewood grips
rubber grips
trigger and hammer job

The bore is good, shoots like a dream

just looking for what people think it is worth, I have no idea.

Looks very nice. I love the rosewood grips. New without mods and those grips, these things go for near $900. I'm guessing the trigger and hammer job make the double action action easier or somethin'?

Looks like this gun was built for competition, you shouldn't sell under $750, Just the rosewood grip itself is about a hundred dallors.

I wouldn't ask a penny less than 800 and might even hold out for 900. Those shorter barrels are harder to come by.

Looks like it is geared for PPC.
The problem with specialized equipment is it will be worth more to some than others - so your market is likely quite small if you want top dollar for it.
As an example, someone shooting IDPA would look at the weight and Aristocrate sights as something to fix, a plinker would likely have no quams either way, and someone who competes in the sport it was intended would see it as something maybe worthwhile, but something they can get on the cheap.
