As above, anyone done it? Looking around, seems to be lots of methods ranging from delicate to crude. Have a FL sizing die for 308, might want to open it up some once I get my new chamber reamed and headspaced. Ammunition is going through at least two rifles, so a neck sizer or bushing die isn't what I want.

From what I have found, want to use at least 600 grit material or compound and go slow.

Simple solution, buy a Forster benchrest FL die and they will hone the die for you.

And full length non-bushing dies produce cases with less neck runout than bushing dies according to Whidden Custom Dies below.

"The non-bushing sizer die typically yields more concentric ammo in our experience. It also fully sizes the case neck fully
to the shoulder for smoother functioning. Neck tension can only be determined by changing expander balls with the non-bushing die."
