Hope he got to spread the genes...

Holy fkk those are some messed up antlers!

I think I'd rather be didn't pass on his genes though. Crazy rack but makes me wonder if he's got any other genetic issues...

I have to agree with Suther. I'm a fan of classic antlers without any junk. Mind you, I'd shoot that guy just for the conversation piece aspect, but would much prefer to bag a heavy classic-racked buck.

I'll shoot an ugly buck over a pretty one every time, one they look cool and two I'd rather remove him from the gene pool (although judging by the size of that one I'd expect he's passed those genes on...)

I have been told (I am not a Biologist either) that injuries to the buck's spine can have an effect on their antlers.
Of course, loading them up with chemicals and meds can help that sort of thing along too, if you are in that business (deer behind fences).

Dunno. Don't worry about it all that much.

I'd shoot it! I'll take a non-typical over a typical anytime.

If that is a genetically transferable trait, you can pretty much count on seeing more like him around.

Suspect the Mortician would have to work for days to get that grin off his face, if he died tomorrow. :)
