Here are some of the highlights of my season. Not bad overall but I had higher expectations of better waterfolwing. The cold and rain really screwed us Alberta.

So I saw a grouse pitched the tree and quickly alerted Jody. He came over with the shotty.

Bang !

Bird didn't move,...startled but didn't move.

I says "Jesus Christ Man, are you cockeyed LOL>>> shoot the damn bird"

Bang !

Nothing again.

I strat laughing.

Bang!

Nothing again, bird still there looking at us.

I treach to grab the shotgun and then I see the barrel, I almost fell over,

No idea what happened, but thing was split bad. And right above the pump!!!!

How he never lost his fingers I will never know...
 
Well I had a good Fall.........not as bountyfull as yours but still managed two whitetails, sh!tload of grouse, Moose season was a bust, and I've been trying to get out for predators all winter but life is getting in the way of my hunting! lol

Question... where were the stories of the deer taken? Alberta? I noticed the plate on the truck was NFLD?

Also... the picture of the plate of two grouse breasts... the purple one, would that be a spruce partidge? You like the taste of those?

The deer were taken in AB.

The purple fowl is Spruce Grouse and I enjoy them very much.. took about 100 of them this year...the other is a ruff...got two blues as well.

I had a blast this fall.. I didn't have a lot of time due to school so I had to concentrate on the first few days of archery season.

I got what should have been a clear shot but somehow flubbed it. On the plus side, I later learned how not to winch my truck up a hillside covered in fallen trees :/
