Well folks, good new to report.

On my M305, I am hoping the roller issue is now behind me. :D YAY!!

I replaced the Norky op rod and spring with USGI spec'd. Op rod from Dlask.

Had to do some fitting. One thing of note was had to polish the inside of the oprod to allow bolt roller to go into battery smoothly. In comparison...well..there really IS not comparison, as the norky oprod was noticeably different in dimension to the Dlask op rod.

Also, there are not the markings of "slamming" force in the op rod groove, as I had shown on the pics.

I put through 35 rounds. No hiccup, no fail to battery, no fail to fire. It operated smooooth as glass. My wife even took a couple of shots and was impressed (she went back to shooting my mini-14).

Groupings at 100 yards after re-sighting was 1.25". Shooting at sitting (free) rest, at 300 yards...smoked the 24" gong 8 out of 10 times.

My headspace measures 1.631 ish. My factory casings used to measure 1.023 after firing and now measure 1.016".

I'M A HAPPY CAMPER NOW! :D :D Thanks to Hungry, M14 Doctor and Claven2 for their insight and advice.

OOOOPS...I knew I forgot someone.

It happens all the time that when cudo's are given out, I miss someone whom also has contributed.

Didn't mean to provide a nut cracker Satain, I owe you my thanks too, because, indeed, you DID provide some of the vital commentary which led me to sourcing the problem.

Thanks again all. :D
