Hornady® Lock-N-Load® Bolt Ball™ ???
Hi all, after shooting my old JC Higgins Model 50 for a while now, there is one thing I would like to change and that is the Bolt Lift. I find it short and the ball a tad bit small. Most shooters would probably opt for a smith job and drill/tap for a tactical style bolt knob. I have seen a few Swede Mausers with this type of ball but was not, until last night, aware I could get them in North America. Have seen similar devices in sporting goods stores in Europe. Seem common in Scandinavia. I believe Sako and Tikka manufacures them as well. Drill and tap is out of the question as I would have to send the Bolt to the Mainland to get it done...
Have anyone here ever used one of these? Please comment with your experience. I know it is not everyone's cup-of-tea, but spare me the Fudd/Ugly/Garbage comments. I would like to try it as a low cost option to my dilemma, so if you can point me to anyone in Canada that can supply them, I will be grateful.

EDIT: Free shipping, order placed
Will soon find out if it was worth 6 ish dollars ...
