I'm a Hornady fanboy but in I don't understand why Hornady doesn't have their manual free. Just looking at one page and I'm thinking, hmm those 150gr RN would be great for the 30-30. For every dollar they'd lose on book sales, theyd make $10 on projectiles. Seems shortsighted, especially since nosler, Hodgdon etc release it free.

Btw, anyone feel like sharing 30-30 data? I guess the LVR bottle will do...

LeveRevolution, developed by Hodgdon and hornady
For the 3030 160gr ftx
37 grain max from the Hornady book
35.5 grain max from the Hodgdon website

You would think they'd have the same data considering they've developed it together. Now I have to go buy more ftx. See Hornady, free data = projectile and powder sales!!

Was a bit disappointed in the 150grain data though. No LVR and no 4895?

Hodgdon tells us that WW760 and H414 are the same powder, but I couldn't help notice that Hornady doesn't seem to agree with this as there are different max loads in the cartridges listed by Thechineseguy.

Both 760 and H414 have come from different plants at different times. It's likely that it was true when they wrote it, now, who can say? - dan
