Don't know if anyone has tried this bullet, if not, don't. I should of read up more on these before buying. Aside from the fact that there is almost no load data for these, rifle, and trimming of case, try and load these. I went through my brass and found 50 hornady that were already the right length, so at least I didn't have to trim my brass, but there is no chance of using the seating die, not sure why, but it will never push in the same, and I don't mean slight difference, I'm talking 1/8th inch, I ended up just pushing by hand to right length, same with crimp die, some crimp fine, some crimp but push bullet in. I got 20 loaded trying to work up a load, but those 20 were only gotten by using my bullet puller 11 times. I've loaded about 1800 357 for pistol, 357 is one of my favorite to load, but these I was doing for lever rifle, I'll go back to xtp. Haven't even shot the 20 to see how they do, and I know I have 180 ftx bullets for sale.

I loaded quite a few 140FTX in regular 357 cases and never experienced any problems
Shot them in a Ruger 77/357 which didn't seem to care about the longer rounds.
I abandoned them because I could get the same velocity with a heavier hard-cast bullet.

edit: I use Lee dies and presses
