Yes, I agree that these particular bullets should be seated as close as possible. .010 is reasonable.
My rifle gives groups that hover a little over .25 with 45.0 grains Varget, out of a Federal case, ignited by a Federal 210M. I seat to 2.810. Obviously, all of these things are unique to my individual rifle, but it goes to show that the 155 AMAX really works.
