Hornady 160 gr FTX bullets

Does anyone have any opinions/experience they would like to share about these new Hornady bullets that they're using in the LEVERevolution ammo? I'm thinking it would be nice to load up something other than a flat point for the old 336 for a change.....

ya i clocked the factory stuff at 2600 fps if i remember..in the old win 30-30 i only bought one box when it first come out. i have been waiting to get the bullets to make my own..they were very accurate i do remember that. good stuff...takes the lever action into the 21st century

Tested a few loads at the range today out of a microgroove 336. Not as impressive as I thought they should have been with all the hype. Best with IMR 3031 was 2" at 100 yd in no wind.
