Anyone have any data for the Hornady 75g ELD match bullets

223.
I have Varget,CFE223 and benchmark on hand.

Much appreciated.

Brian

First you'll have to determine what OAL you are going to start with, which depends on your chamber and magazine.

Ya I never thought of that:)
It's an ATRS pistol mag, being used in a Modern varminter.

I was thinking, that the hornady suggested OAL would work.

Data for the 75gr hpbt match should work as a starting point. If there's no data around for the eld.
Personally I would load to max allowable magazine length, then do the sharpie trick looking for bullet jam.

23.5 gr of varget with a 75 gr hpbt is a lazer in my remmy 700 1/9, and a ra xcr-l 1/8.

The ELD can't be seated to AR mag length, same as for the previous 75 A Max. 2.390" is the min I believe.

Data for the 75 gr JLK VLD from Hodgdon will work. You basically can't get enough Varget in the case to go over pressure. At 25.0 gr you're pretty compressed as it is.

Yes,I kinda see that now.
I might just cancel that idea :)

I have a couple hundred of them but haven't loaded any yet. Got them when I had a Tikka t3 which has the same mag constraints as a AR

I've used the 75 BTHP and A Max. Both were excellent. Even factory Hornady Superformance 75 gr BTHP loads shot sub .75 MOA at 300 yds.
