HORNADY 250 GMX 45 cal

Anyone try the Hornady .458 GMX 250 Gr bullet in there 45-70 Gov or 450 Marlin yet They do penetrate a lot deeper then the 325 FTX bullet and HOLD together completely ( 100 percent ) with a nice petal expansion ! I shot them into Fir wood ! RJ

The lightest I shoot is 350 gr., never tried lighter and usually shoot the 405s in the lever gun.
The BP gun uses 500 gr. to 600 gr. cast.
