First time I've seen this, neck sizing in a Redding NS die, shoulder completely collapsed from the minimal forces required for neck sizing. Looks like the neck got half way in before it collapsed. Weird.

Maybe try chamfering the mouth and lube the inside if your using a die with a expander ball. And measure the expander ball to make sure it's a 25 cal.

Edit: I see that it's getting in the neck a bit. Weird...

Die is good, ran several hundred pieces through it, always cleaned and inspected before and after loading, I always lube inside neck of each case and just a spear on the outside of every 3rd case mouth. Never happened before.
And I don't anneal either. Just a butter soft shoulder on this one piece I guess.

Have you checked for the brass donut on the inside for the neck, near the bottom of the brass. Before the shoulder starts. .

Needed to ream some of mine after the 4 reload..
Brass flows down to that point as you neck size more and more..

I have had this happen with a set of RCBS dies for 300 weatherby magnum with RP brass. I used a little more lube on the inside of the case neck and problem went away.

Yessir, no donuts. This brass has only been fired once, first neck sizing.

It wasn't touching the expander on the upstroke at all, and it was lubed inside the neck.
At least I'm not the only lucky one to experience this lol.

Had the same thing happen with a box of hornady 257 brass a while back. Ended up tossing the whole works and going back to the Norma stuff.

My primary brass for this is Nosler, no issues with it. Grabbed some Hornady for back up... probably shouldn't have lol.
